Everyday I enjoy goining to my workshop for woodturning.
Making smal objects, making large objects, parts and experiments.
I never boring!
I recently came across anorher old craft: the barber!
The proffesion intriguid me and I started to delve into the histoy.
I became across wondrous statements that stimulated my inspiration.
Again seated behind my lathe I experimented with form, lemght and applications,
I came to a design that is appreciated by many people.
NEW POLE IN OLD COAT
I then went to work to give the pole an old look
Uses special painting, patina and polishing the objects.
I completed a gilding training course beforel started gilding the bulbs of the post.
Techniques that demand a lot of skill.
HOW AM I GOING TO FIX THE POLE ON THE WALL
This really gave me a figuring out how the suspension could be realized.
To find out the best way, I cut, sawed and welded metal.
Then in my opinion the pole had to defy all kind of weather.
I started to work with durable enemels and painted the pole in a special coating.
And than I came tot he conclusion that my barberpoles may see the light!
